Premium Natural Granite Cobblestones | Hotel Drop-Off Area and Circular Driveway Paving Project
A hotel entrance is both a functional traffic area where vehicles arrive, stop and depart, and an important landscape space that shapes the guest’s first impression of the property. This project focused on natural granite cobblestone paving for the hotel’s main drop-off area and circular driveway. The objective was not simply to create a decorative surface, but to provide a durable paving solution for regular vehicle traffic while integrating the driveway with the hotel architecture, entrance canopy, landscaping and pedestrian areas. Project Focus: Making Vehicular Paving Part of the Hotel Entrance Landscape
Premium Natural Granite Cobblestones | Urban Public Square and Pedestrian Street Renovation Project
Urban public squares and pedestrian streets are among the most heavily used public spaces in a city. After years of use, existing paving may gradually show signs of ageing, localized damage, and a lack of visual continuity between different areas. This project used premium natural granite cobblestones to renovate an urban public square and its connected pedestrian street. The objective was not simply to replace the old paving, but to re-establish a continuous relationship between the square and pedestrian street through natural stone, while retaining the existing architecture, commercial frontages and basic spatial structure. Project Focus: Integrating New Paving into the Existing Urban Environment
Premium Granite Kerbstones | Commercial Complex Vehicle Entrances and Pedestrian Crossing Project
Commercial complexes usually need to accommodate vehicle access, pedestrian circulation, building entrances, and landscape boundaries within the same outdoor space. At underground parking entrances, pedestrian crossings, and main walkways in particular, kerb heights and boundary conditions often need to change according to different circulation requirements. In this project, premium natural granite kerbstones were used along the vehicle entrances and pedestrian crossing areas of a commercial complex. Instead of repeating a single standard kerb profile throughout the site, standard kerbs, transition kerbs, and lowered sections were coordinated according to different levels and circulation conditions, creating a continuous and clearly defined boundary between vehicular roads, pedestrian paving, and the surrounding landscape. Transitioning from Standard Kerbs to Vehicle Entrances
Custom Granite Slabs | Cultural Center Entrance Plaza and Linear Drainage Paving Project
Entrance plazas for cultural centers, art centers, and public exhibition buildings often need to coordinate large-scale paving with architectural axes, pedestrian circulation, surface gradients, and rainwater drainage. For projects using large-format natural granite slabs, the final result depends not only on the stone itself, but also on how functional elements such as linear drains and inspection covers are integrated into the overall paving layout. In this project, custom natural granite slabs were used for the main entrance plaza of a cultural center. The linear drainage system and stone layout were developed together during the detailing stage, creating a coordinated relationship between the building entrance, plaza paving, and drainage elements. Large-Format Granite Slabs Extend the Architectural Order
Premium Granite Cobblestones | Residential Shared Street and Central Landscape Courtyard Paving Project
Modern high-end residential developments no longer treat vehicle roads, residential entrances and landscaped courtyards as completely separate outdoor spaces. Instead, greater emphasis is placed on creating continuity from the community entrance through to the internal public areas. In this project, premium natural granite cobblestones were used throughout the residential shared streets, drop-off areas and central landscape courtyard. The objective was not simply to pave a road, but to use stone dimensions, laying directions and material combinations to gradually slow vehicles after entering the community, while allowing the roadway to transition naturally toward residential entrances and the central courtyard, creating a cohesive residential landscape system. Project focus: reducing the visual character of a conventional road
High-Quality Granite Kerbstones | University Campus Main Entrance, Slow-Mobility Roads and Accessible Crossings Project
University campus roads function differently from conventional urban streets. The main entrance needs to accommodate vehicle access and traffic distribution while also handling the high volume of students, faculty and visitors moving on foot. Further inside the campus, these roads connect academic buildings, libraries, student residences, public plazas and landscaped areas, gradually forming a slow-mobility network primarily designed for pedestrians and cyclists. In this project, high-quality natural granite kerbstones were used to create consistent edges along the university’s main entrance, internal slow-mobility routes, landscaped boundaries and accessible pedestrian crossings. The objective was not simply to install kerbstones along both sides of the road, but to adapt kerbstone dimensions, corners, dropped sections and custom details to different traffic conditions, road geometries and level changes, creating clear and continuous boundaries between vehicle routes, pedestrian paving and the campus landscape. The main entrance needs to accommodate vehicle turning and concentrated pedestrian movement
High-Quality Granite Kerbstones | Logistics Park Main Roads & Heavy-Vehicle Entrances Project
Large logistics parks experience frequent daily traffic from trucks, container transport vehicles and other heavy vehicles. Compared with ordinary internal roads, main routes, warehouse entrances and loading areas are exposed to higher loads as well as frequent turning, reversing and edge-running movements, placing greater demands on the stability and durability of road boundaries. For this project, natural granite kerbstones were used along the logistics park’s main roads, heavy-vehicle entrances, warehouse access roads and selected landscaped boundaries. Rather than simply providing an edge to the roadway, the project focused on creating a stable and clearly defined road boundary through coordinated stone dimensions, installation structure, turning details and drainage design. Project Focus: Stable Boundaries Along Main Roads
Premium Granite Cobblestones | Heavy Duty Paving for Public Car Parks & Fire Access Roads
Public car parks are designed not only for everyday vehicle parking and circulation. In many public buildings, commercial developments and large residential projects, they must also connect efficiently with fire access roads, building entrance driveways and internal traffic routes. In this project, premium natural granite cobblestones were used to create an integrated paving system for the public car park, main vehicle routes and fire access road. Rather than focusing only on stone strength, the project coordinated cobblestone dimensions, laying patterns, base construction, edge restraint and drainage according to the different traffic conditions across the site. Project Focus: Coordinating Parking Areas and Main Vehicle Routes
Custom Granite Slabs | Stadium Main Entrance Plaza and Event Evacuation Paving Project
The main entrance plaza of a large stadium is not only an important architectural frontage but also a key space for spectator arrival, gathering, and rapid evacuation during sports events, concerts, and other large public events. Compared with a conventional landscape plaza, this type of space must accommodate high pedestrian volumes within short periods while connecting ticketing and security areas, public transport, parking zones, and surrounding pedestrian routes. The paving therefore needs to address not only architectural appearance but also surface evenness, slip resistance, drainage, large-area paving stability, and long-term intensive use. For this project, custom natural granite slabs were used throughout the stadium’s main entrance plaza and primary event evacuation areas.
Custom Granite Slabs | Urban Rail Station Forecourt and Transfer Walkway Paving Project
This project involved the paving of an urban rail station forecourt and its main pedestrian transfer areas. The plaza connects the station entrance with bus stops, taxi zones and the surrounding urban pedestrian network, creating an important public space for passenger circulation and transport interchange. Natural granite slabs were selected as the primary outdoor paving material. Because the area experiences concentrated pedestrian traffic as well as frequent movement of wheeled luggage, strollers and other rolling equipment, the project required careful control of paving layout, joints, surface evenness, accessibility and drainage details. Paving Layout Based on Pedestrian Flow
High-Quality Granite Kerbstones | Urban Bus Corridor, Traffic Island and Accessible Crossing Project
This project involved the improvement of an urban bus corridor and several key road junctions, including bus lane boundaries, areas around bus stops, traffic islands and accessible pedestrian crossings. The road is subject to frequent bus traffic while also accommodating vehicles, waiting passengers and pedestrians. Natural granite kerbstones were therefore selected, with specifications developed for straight sections, traffic island corners and accessible crossings to create continuous boundaries between different functional areas. Continuous Road Boundaries Along the Bus Corridor
