For this prestigious project, our premium natural black granite cobblestones were selected. The compact, interlocking fan-shaped matrix effectively distributes concentrated vehicular load down to the base, fundamentally eliminating common industry pain points like cracking or loose joints found in large-format pavers. Hand Split Natural Surface Grey Granite Cobblestone Production Case
This project case presents the traditional hand splitting process used to produce grey granite cobblestones with a natural split finish. Experienced stone workers follow the natural grain and splitting direction of the granite, using professional tools to shape each paving stone individually. This process creates an authentic rough natural surface while maintaining careful control over the finished dimensions, thickness and overall size consistency. The hand split finish preserves the original character of the granite and provides reliable slip resistance, abrasion resistance and long term outdoor durability. These natural split granite paving stones are suitable for European villa courtyards, private driveways, estate entrances, garden paths, historic streets, municipal squares, hotel landscapes and public paving projects. This project uses light grey natural granite kerbstones to define the road boundaries within a modern business park. Continuous straight and curved sections clearly separate asphalt vehicle lanes, pedestrian paving and landscaped areas. In large commercial buildings, luxury hotels, public architecture and contemporary landscape projects, an entrance is rarely just a single flat paved surface. It is often composed of forecourt paving, landscape steps, ramps, walls, façades and ground surfaces at different levels. In this project, custom natural granite slabs were used for the architectural entrance and large landscape steps. Unlike conventional paving with continuously repeated rectangular slabs, the project included multiple corners, step edges, wall junctions and non-standard areas. The stone therefore needed to be fabricated according to the specific conditions of each architectural detail. The objective was not to create unnecessary complexity, but to use custom fabrication to fit granite accurately into the transition points between architecture and landscape, creating a continuous relationship between the steps, entrance and surrounding paving.
