The main entrance and drop-off area at The Ritz-Carlton, Harbin require a natural-stone pavement capable of combining a refined hotel arrival experience with reliable performance under frequent vehicle traffic. Premium natural black granite cobblestones were selected for this project. Laid in a compact interlocking fan pattern, the small-format granite units help distribute concentrated vehicle loads into the pavement base while providing stable joints and a distinctive flowing appearance. The granite paving is designed to withstand Harbin’s demanding climate and repeated vehicle movements while maintaining long-term structural stability. Technical highlights: high compressive strength, effective load distribution and durable all-weather performance.
